My Story
In 2019, I was in an accident on the 4th of July that changed my life forever. I received head trauma from a horrific fall. I was hospitalized for two weeks without any memories of my stay. I had to do physical therapy to regain movement function and school work that was meant for children to help my brain rebuild. This is the most challenging obstacle I have faced and might be the hardest of my whole life. One doctor visit stood out from all the rest. My ENT doctor looked at me and said, “He has a plan for you” because, looking at my injury, I shouldn’t be able to walk or talk. I defied the odds and returned to TCU in the fall of 2019. It was hard, and my grades did not reflect me as a student. I graduated on time with the rest of my class.
Currently, I am trying to find a job that will allow me to utilize my degree in Strategic Communications and work with the schedule of someone living with a serve TBI.
